Haus Nr. 27, heute Kronacher Str.2 Haus von Salomon Isaak WERTHEIMER. 1818 für seinen Sohn Isaak gebaut Türinschrift SW (sicher für Salomon Wertheimer) heute Wirtshaus „Zum Steinernen Löwen“	House No. 27, today Kronacher Str. No. 2 House of Salomon Isaac WERTHEIMER. built in 1818 for his son Isaac. Inscription SW (nost likely denotes Salomon Wertheimer) Today an inn named „Zum Steinernen Löwen“

Genau – das URHAUS der Wertheimers des Isaak Marx Levi W. Nr.25 heute Kronacher Str.6 „Urhaus“ der Fam.Wertheimer, gekauft 1759 von Isaak Marx Wertheimer, vermutlich aus Pretzfeld/Kr.Forchheim stammend, von seinem Erben Salomon weiter gegeben an seine beiden Brüder Jacob – später nach Cincinnati emigriert – und Hirsch House No 25, today Kronacher Str. No. 6. The original house of the WERTHEIMER family, bought in 1759 by Isaak Marx WERTHEIMER (thought to have come from Pretzfeld/Kr.Forchheim). His heir Salomon gave it to his two brothers Jacob (later emigrated to Cincinnati) and Hirsch.
Haus Nr.53, heute „Am Grünen Tal 1“ von Salomon Isaak mit der schönen ornamentierten holzerne Haustür (evtl. noch originale) . Das Haus wie zu sehen oberhalb der Jakobskirche! House No.53, today „Am Gruenen Tal No. 1“ of Salomon Isaak WERTHEIMER with the beautiful ornamental wooden front door (possibly still the original) . The house is situated just aboove the Jacob's Church
Nr.92 heute Kirchstr.12 Haus von Sandel= Wohnhaus von Eleonore bis 1839! Liegt schräg gegenüber der ehem. Synagoge/Schule Inschrift SWM (wohl für Sandel Wertheimer Mitwitz) – FCM 1821 (Neubau) sehr schöne evtl. originale Tür (mit „Levitenkanne“ als Herkunftszeichen der Wertheimers!?) alter Sandsteinpfosten an der rechten Hausseite sicher original erhalten Das Haus [schräg gegenüber von Haus Nr. 27, Isaak WERTHEIMER] mit dem äußerst großen DACH, wohl geeignet zur Aufnahme des Hopfens; hopdealing war ja eine sehr gute Berufswahl nach dem Viehandel, wie wir wissen, zog Sandel ja mit seinem Sohn nach Bamberg, der wiederum den Hopfenhandel in Nuernberg. betrieb. Die Tür von 92 mit den möglichen „Levitenkannen“ The door of No. 92, possibly with the oil cans of the Levites.	House No.92, today Kirchstrasse No12. This is the house of Sandel WERTHEIMER in which his daughter Eleonore lived until 1839! It lies diagonally opposite the one time Synagogue/school building. Inscription SWM (likely for Sandel Wertheimer Mitwitz) – FCM 1821 (New build). Very nice, possibly original front door (with „Levite oil can“ possibly denoting the Levite Status of the Wertheimers!?). The old sandstone cornerstone on the right is most likely still the original. The house lies diagonally opposite no. 27, Isaak WERTHEIMER] It has a particularly large roof, likely suitable for receiving loads of hops. Hopdealing was a particularly good choice of trade. We know that after that the cattle trading Sandel, together with his son moved to Bamberg and from where he traded in hops in Nuernberg.
